Previously, Jamie was in a home with other cats and had a good relationship with an older female cat, but there was a young cat in the home that would repeatedly bully her which was very frightening for her. For this reason, we do think that she would do well with a mellow cat friend. Overall she is nervous with humans, which we understand. A human dropped her off at a LANDFILL! We believe a home with another cat will help her gain confidence and follow the other cat’s lead, in accepting the comfort of human companionship, as well.

Jamie has not been around dogs. She is going to be shy at first. At this stage in her life, she does not appreciate being picked up but she will tolerate it, done carefully. Our foster says she really has come a long way in trusting her humans since her arrival.

Jamie has an incredibly good appetite; she eats a combination of dry and wet food. She is very chatty and will let you know when the food bowl is empty. She has EXCELLENT litter box habits. She has used both a litter robot, as well as a standard litter box.

Jamies LOVES ping pong ball, toys with bells, and hammock beds. She is not food motivated once she has a full tummy. But she does love Churu style treats. Jamie is such a small cutie and in a quiet environment with patience that allows her to trust she is going to be a wonderful cat. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.

His fosters tell us that he is the most loving Bengal that they have ever met. He loves being petted and his favorite thing to do at night is to snuggle into his foster Daddy’s lap for the night.

Like many other Bengals, Tito is very active and loves running on his cat wheel and chasing his feather wand. Tito would do really well in a quiet, stress free environment. He could do well with a cat-friendly cat, provided there are careful introductions.

Tito hasn’t been around dogs so we can’t say whether or not he would adjust to a cat-friendly dog.

Unfortunately, the nature of fostering does require that the foster cat must be separated from other pets in the home (unless all of the pets are welcoming to each other). In Tito’s case he gets along fine with one of the cats in the home, but the other cat is very Alpha and has not rolled out the red carpet for him. For this reason, we are seeing some separation anxiety.

Tito needs an easygoing home that is consistent with schedules and routine. In the past, when he has been stressed due to separation anxiety, he has ingested small objects that resulted in surgical removal. For this reason he cannot live in a home with children under the age of 12 – he’ll need to live in a very neat / tidy environment.

Tito is on a raw diet and loves Churu. This is something that would need to be continued for his gut health.

Tito is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations.

The owner told this family his age (he is 12 years old now – mind you – Bengals can live to be 20!). They also said that they didn’t want Z back (he wasn’t getting along with the other pets in the home), and that the “finders” were welcome to keep him. Z’s current family has provided Z with EXCELLENT care and medical oversight. He has been extensively tested and we have many records to share. This boy is very very healthy however he is FIV+ (more on this later).

Z is a loving cat, likes gentle pets especially on the head, loves his belly rubbed when rolling over and sleeping under blankets. He can occasionally become a little over-stimulated and bite playfully. He loves chicken, treats, loves playing with string as it wiggles like a snake, and cardboard boxes are his favorite toy to play with. He enjoys catnip mice toys. He is expressive and tries to communicate with you often loudly.

Z, like most Bengals, does not like being picked up and held for exceptionally long. Z has his challenges. His front paws are declawed (he was that way when found). He is also FIV positive so will need to be an only cat. FIV cats can live long, healthy lives, there is no reason that they cannot be a part of someone’s family. Z has been an indoor/outdoor cat, so initially it could take some time to get him used to being indoor-only. He does not have a good relationship with other pets so he would be best as the only pet in the home.

We would love to find Z a quiet stress-free home where he can live the rest of his life in peace and safely. A home with a Catio would be great for Z. He is up to date on his shots (he went to the vet in October 2023). He is microchipped and neutered.
