Adoption Application
If you are interested in adopting a Bengal from Bengal Rescue, we have a few requests. Before you fill out our Adoption Application, please review our guidelines on Bengal cat care, so that you will be prepared before adopting a rescue Bengal from us:
Introducing Pets (if you have other pets)
Bengal Rescue reserves the right to “match” the right cat with the right families; therefore, we cannot guarantee that your application will be approved for the particular cat that you are applying for. We work very hard to ensure that the cat we’re placing ends up in the most suitable, forever home.
Bengal Rescue also reserves the right to decline an adoption based upon disruptive behavior, policy violations, or other unprofessional behavior that Bengal Rescue does not endorse.

We place our rescue cats as INDOOR ONLY.
IF YOU LIVE IN AN APARTMENT, please note that the Bengal breed is a HIGH ENERGY breed. They need lots of space and room to exercise, explore, and get that energy out. Many Bengals are known to be EXTREMELY VOCAL. For this reason, many Apartments do not accommodate that need. We have successfully placed a number of Bengals in Apartments, but this is usually cats who are 10 or older, and also cats 10 and older and dislike other pets. We look at each Bengal cat’s needs, individually, and ensure that their energy level matches their new living environment.
Adoption fees vary and are based on Veterinary expenses and other factors.
You can contact us after you have submitted your Application, to check on the status. Our email address is adopt@bengalrescue.org
Because of the volume of submissions we receive, we are asking for a small $25.00 non-refundable donation to process applications.
The donation will be applied to the adoption fee as a credit, if you are selected as the adopter. If you are not selected for the cat you have submitted for, we will still apply that adoption fee as a credit for other cats in our program.
If you are located on the East Coast or in the Mid-West, please note that we do not ship cats. Most of the cats in our program are adults and do not enjoy cross-country travels. Candidates for travel are case-by-case. Our cats are located in the Pacific / Southwest and Rockies.
